We live in a time in which we establish a relationship of absolute trust with food, in which we accept everything we eat without questioning it. Rodrigues challenges this reality with the Materia Project.
Matéria is a non-profit project developed by chef João Rodrigues to promote national producers with good agricultural and livestock production practices that respect nature and the environment, as fundamental elements of Portuguese culture.
The Matéria Project is funded by Turismo de Portugal, has had Marcel as a development partner since its inception and has the institutional support of the National Commission of Unesco.
