Wines of Tenerife. Wines that inspire

Sponsored by Vinos de Tenerife

Volcanic wines with personality.

It was in the 15th century that the first vineyards were planted in the fertile volcanic soil of Tenerife (between 100 and 1,000 metres). This, together with the trade winds and the absence of phylloxera, is the reason for its marked and very distinctive minerality, freshness and complexity.

These characteristics allow the white and red varieties to develop their full potential in the different microclimates of the island, which make up the six Denominations of Origin. From the mythical aromatic Malvasía to the powerful white and black Listanes, as well as Gual, Albillo Criollo, Vijariego, Moscatel, Marmajuelo, Verdello, Negramoll, Baboso, Tintilla...
