This year the award for the best facet of gastronomy journalism goes to France.

San Sebastian Gastronomika – Euskadi Basque Country means talks and live cookery demonstrations, but it does not leave out the awards. In addition to the legendary Homage Award and the "Gueridón de Oro" Award, since 2012 the congress has had a prize for the best facet of gastronomy journalism. 

It is known as the Pau Albornà i Torras Gastronomy Journalism Award in memory of the young journalist of the same name, who died in 2012. It is decided by a panel of chefs, journalists and gastronomes chosen by the organisation. This year it will go to French journalist Julie Andreu.
