Passionate about food and wine, he began his culinary adventure at the age of 14. His professional career has seen him work with chefs such as Abraham Garcia, Ljubomir Stanisic and Jeronimo Ferreira. At the age of 23, he opened his first restaurant in Sintra and showed his irreverent side, changing the menu every week for four years without repeating a single dish.
Today, at the helm of the Sála restaurant, recently awarded one star by the Michelin Guide, he explores a travelling cuisine, inspired by his African roots and a city that has always been open to the world and influenced by him: Lisbon.
