Pampín Bar (Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña) has won the final of the VII National Championship of Russian Salad - San Miguel, which was held this Tuesday at Gastronomika San Sebastian - Euskadi Basque Country. Pampín Bar replaces the restaurant La Viña De Henao Casa de Comidas (Bilbao) as the new home of the best ensaladilla in Spain.
Alen Tarrío won the competition by winning over a jury made up of chefs and journalists such as Pedro Subijana, chef at Akelarre (Donostia), José Carlos Capel, president of Madrid Fusión, Julia Pérez, gastronomic journalist, Carlos Maribona, gastronomic journalist, Benjamín Lana, director of San Sebastian Gastronomika, Iván Cerdeño, chef at Iván Cerdeño** (Toledo) and Lisa Abend, gastronomic journalist.
Pampín Bar is therefore the home of the best Russian salad in Spain, the only tapa - with the exception of the potato omelette - that is common to the whole of Spain. Behind it are the restaurants Kiki (San Sebastián), Taberna de Miguel (Baena Jaén); Restaurante Balear (Madrid), Es Codol Foradat (Foradat), Es Codol Foradat (Foradat) and Es Codol Foradat (Foradat).
